How it works

From a resume to the few roles worth your evening.

Four steps, most of them done before you arrive. Each is shown below, as it actually works.

  1. 1

    Read the career

  2. 2

    Read employers

  3. 3

    Assess

  4. 4

    Prepare

01

We read the whole career, then ask.

Not the latest job title: every role and every line. From them we suggest the kinds of work you could do next and the experience band you sit in.

  • Three or four kinds of role, each with its reason
  • Your LinkedIn export, if you add it, merged in
  • Nothing is searched until you confirm

Operations Associate · 5 years

  • Reconciled 5,000+ utility billing records a month
  • Managed 12 supplier relationships and renewals
  • Documented onboarding processes for three teams
  • Built weekly operations reports in Excel and JIRA

Suggested for you to confirm

Billing and revenue operations
Supply chain and vendors
Business operations
Experience band: 3 to 7 years

02

We read employers, not listings.

Roles come straight from the systems employers hire through, checked on a schedule. A role that leaves the employer's list leaves ours.

  • Every role seen at its employer within the last 24 hours
  • Listing sites only point us to employers
  • LinkedIn and job boards are never scraped
  • Workday
  • Greenhouse
  • Lever
  • Ashby
  • amazon.jobs
  • Workable

Every role is assessed the same way.

All of today's candidate roles are scored together, in one assessment, against a fixed hundred point rubric. So two roles are always compared on the same reading of you.

  • Strong fit 70 and above, good 55, possible 40
  • Nothing below 40 is ever sent
  • Every score is kept, sent or not

If today is thin, the search widens, and says so.

When fewer than five roles fit your exact terms, the search widens one careful step at a time. Any role found that way is labelled with the step that found it.

Each role arrives with its resume.

Written for that role from evidence in your own history, laid out to read well and to clear applicant tracking systems. Then a second model checks every line against what you wrote.

  • Claims your history cannot support are removed
  • One page by default, two if you prefer

Resume · Billing Operations Analyst

Tailored for this role

One page
  • Reconciled 5,000+ billing records monthly across three regions
  • Owned renewals for 12 suppliers, cutting late invoices
  • Wrote the onboarding playbook used by three teams

Every line found in your own resume. Nothing added that you did not do.

And it follows the application through.

Mark a role applied and the tracker takes it from there: follow ups drafted at the right moment, and an honest record of what happened.
